Elle a notamment \u00e9crit <strong><em>La r\u00e9paration<\/em><\/strong> (Grasset, 2012), <strong><em>17 ans <\/em><\/strong>(Grasset, 2015),<strong><em> La Tendresse du crawl,<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Nuits d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 Brooklyn <\/em><\/strong>(Stock, 2021) et <strong><em>Deux petites bourgeoises<\/em><\/strong> (Stock, 2021). <br><br>Elle a re\u00e7u le prix Anna de Noailles de l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie fran\u00e7aise, le grand prix de l\u2019H\u00e9ro\u00efne Madame Figaro, le prix Marcel Pagnol, le prix du roman de Cabourg. Ses livres sont traduits dans une dizaine de langues.<br><br><strong><em>Philip &amp; moi <\/em><\/strong>est son nouveau roman. <br>L\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 1991, Esther est jeune fille au pair dans le Connecticut chez Francine du Plessix, une journaliste am\u00e9ricaine d\u2019origine fran\u00e7aise, obs\u00e9d\u00e9e par son voisin le plus proche, l\u2019\u00e9crivain Philip Roth. Esther a dix-neuf ans, elle observe Philip, Francine, leurs amis, et joue son r\u00f4le. Quarante ans apr\u00e8s, Esther retourne aux \u00c9tats-Unis, Philip Roth et Francine du Plessix sont morts, mais elle retrouve leur clan, et tr\u00e8s vite la conversation vient sur eux. Comment l\u2019amiti\u00e9 entre Philip et Francine s\u2019est transform\u00e9e, passant du d\u00e9sir \u00e0 l\u2019humiliation, de l\u2019affection \u00e0 la haine. Il lui reprochait d\u2019\u00eatre sa premi\u00e8re accusatrice, elle lui aurait co\u00fbt\u00e9 le prix Nobel de litt\u00e9rature, et aurait \u00e9crit la lettre anonyme d\u00e9non\u00e7ant ses infid\u00e9lit\u00e9s que l\u2019on retrouve dans son roman La Tache.<br>Esther enqu\u00eate, interroge leurs proches, leurs correspondances, leurs archives, cherche des traces dans leurs livres et dans ses souvenirs.
