Ses romans m\u00ealant imagination et \u00e9v\u00e8nements r\u00e9cents, toute ressemblance avec des situations ayant exist\u00e9 n\u2019est donc pas fortuite.<br><br>De son premier roman, <em><strong>La Premi\u00e8re Empreinte<\/strong><\/em> (Belfond, 2002) \u00e0 <em><strong>Berlin Requiem<\/strong><\/em> (Plon, 2021), les romans de Xavier-Marie Bonnot sont traduits dans plusieurs langues et laur\u00e9ats de prix prestigieux, dont le Prix Plume de Cristal du Festival international de Li\u00e8ge 2011, le Prix Cognac du meilleur roman francophone 2016, le Prix du roman historique des Rendez-vous de l\u2019Histoire de Blois 2019.<br><br><em><strong>Place du Paradis<\/strong><\/em>, publi\u00e9 en 2024, est le roman cruel de l\u2019actualit\u00e9, comme un miroir des failles de notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9. L&rsquo;histoire d&rsquo;une adolescente qui a grandi dans une petite ville du sud de la France, Lunel, bien loin des banlieues, de l&rsquo;immigration et de l&rsquo;islam radical.
